This website uses cookies to collect non-personal information from online visitors in order to improve their online experience and facilitate their visit to the website. Cookies are small files stored on a computer’s hard drive. Websites can use cookies to recognize returning visitors, track usage behavior, and compile aggregated data that enables improvements to content.

If a visitor does not want information to be collected through the use of cookies, most browsers allow users to reject cookies.

Web Analytics

DIPS collects information about visitors on dips.com. The purpose of this is to prepare statistics that we use to improve and further develop the information provided on our website. Examples of what the statistics show us include: how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites users come from, and which browsers are used.

We use the analytics tool Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager on our website to collect statistics. In addition, we use the A/B testing tool Visual Website Optimizer, as well as the analytics tool Statcounter.

We also respect the “Do Not Track” settings in the user’s browser (applies to the headers X-Do-Not-Track and DNT). The Do Not Track function is included in most modern browsers. Alternatively, it can be set up by the user.

Data Processors

TRY is the data processor and hosting provider for dips.com. In addition, TRY is responsible for development, operation, and maintenance of dips.com.

Information collected in connection with the operation of the website is stored on HubSpot’s servers. DIPS and its data processors have access to and/or insight into the information collected.

Sharing Posts in Social Channels

When you share posts, the information is immediately registered with the social network you choose. How the respective social network handles the data further is regulated by your agreement with the network. We do not store information about the fact that you have shared a post.

Newsletter/d:mag Subscription

DIPS offers newsletters via email. To send these emails, you must register an email address. HubSpot and Mailchimp are data processors for our newsletters. The email address is stored in a separate database and is not shared with others. When you unsubscribe, mailings stop immediately. Data is deleted upon request, and the email address is removed from the registry.

Lists of Participants at Joint Demos or Seminars

DIPS uses Teams, Mailchimp, and HubSpot for registration to DIPS AS demos and courses. Through this system, you can register for courses by providing your name, contact information, and employer.

The personal data we collect when you register for a course will not be used for purposes other than administering the course.

Data Deletion Routines

Personal data is deleted from our systems within 12 months after a course has taken place. Exceptions are data that DIPS is required to retain for accounting purposes. DIPS will keep a copy of registration data for up to one and a half years for statistical purposes.

Information Resale

DIPS does not, under any circumstances, resell information and/or email addresses collected via dips.com.

Recruitment

DIPS has centralized, approved processes for job applications within the organization. We use a recruitment tool called “Teamtailor.” For applicants, specific privacy agreements and rules between Teamtailor and the applicant apply. Read more here (in Norwegian).
